Meeting with our local guide at the airport. – Visit to Fatih Sultan Mehmet Gate. On top of the gate rough translation is as following “On Tuesday morning, on the 29th of May, 1453 the Conqueror Mehmet II and his army entered Istanbul through a hole that the cannons opened in this region. – Visit to Hippodrome of Constantinople: a horse racing track that was the sporting and social center of Constantinople, capital of the Byzantine Empire and the largest city in Europe at that time. – Then, visit to Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmed Mosque): a magnificent mosque that has blue tiles adorning the wall of its interior and the only mosque in Istanbul with six minarets and a treasury of some of Turkey’s greatest artworks and artifacts. – And finally, The Topkapi Palace – the palace of the Ottoman Empire after it shifted its capital from Bursa to Istanbul. Today, it is a museum p with a wide collection of kitchen wares and porcelains, treasuries, royal antiques, courtyards, holy relics etc. – Trip to Bolu for about 3 hours-way.Overnight in Bolu – Dinner in the hotel.
After breakfast in the hotel, trip to Ankara, the capital of Turkey and Ataturk’s motherland. -Visit to magnificent Mausoleum of Ataturk, after we make a way to Cappadocia. -On the way of Cappadocia we are going to visit Salt Lake. Today we start with Love Valley trip where you can discover the spectacular rock formations, magical fairy chimnies. Our guide will talk about the history of Cappadocia and volcanic formation of fairy chimnies. We will visit Carpet School and Paşabağları (known as a Fairy Chimney Valley) where you will have chance to see many fairy chimnies like one body and multiple caps. Then we will have a trip to Avanos, a town famous with embark on an educational tour about art of pottery making and carpet weaving. We will have one hour lunch break. After lunch we drive to Devrent Valley where you can see various types of fairy chimnies in shape of mushroom and animals. Then through Ürgup and Ortahisar we will go to the rock-cut castle to watch view of and old Greek house which was built in 1800s and Pottery Workshop. After that, we will have a trip to Cardak Underground City. The houses in this village are constructed around nearly one hundred tunnels of the underground city. The tunnels are still used today as storage areas, stables, and cellars. The tunnels are lower, narrower and more steeply inclined. The four floors are open for visit and each space is organized around ventilation shafts. This makes the design of each room or open space dependent on the availability of ventilation. Today, you can see magnificent view of Uçhisar Castle (Esentepe Panoramic View) Esentepe which offers an amazing collection of natural and cultural marvels. In simply strolling through the Esentepe Village you will be surprised at the peculiar ‘fairy chimney’ rocks that are naturally crafted by the elements. – Onyx Jewellery Workshop & Center: Onyx is a natural stone related to travertine and marble, all of which are mined in Turkey. You can find different colours including green, white, black and pink. These workshops often sell gold and silver jewellery in traditional Turkish and modern designs and semi-precious gems. – Then we drive to Konya, one of the first centers of population in the history of humankind which once was a famous capital of the Anatolian Seljuk Empire. Konya is also famous for the Islamic Elderly People lived here. – Visit to Mevlana Museum; In the museum there are properties belonging to Mevlana. – After lunch in Konya, we are heading to Aspendos Antique Roman Theatre. The theatre in Aspendos is considered to be the best-preserved theatre of antiquity. The Roman builders of this structure managed to express the state of ideal balance between the auditorium and skene building and, what’s more, the whole theatre matches perfectly into the landscape. On this trip we’ll head out to Akdeniz Orchard in Elmalı town where you will have the opportunity to stroll through the magnificent and plentiful orchard. Find your favorite apple and stock up – or grab a medley! Each guest is welcome to pick apples to take with them. Once you’ve picked the perfect bunch of sweet apples, Akdeniz Local Family offer some Turkish tea with Gozleme pancake to all of us. 2 hours of free time at orchard for picking up apples, pears, peaches. Then we will enjoy Turkish Grill Mixed Kebap at Akdeniz Orchard. After that, we will drive to the province of Pamukkale, one of the tourism centres which attracts the tourists all year round for its rooster, well-known textile products.Overnight in Pamukkale. After Breakfast at the hotel, we will explore the Antique City of Hierapolis, called Holy City in Archeological literature as there were a lot of temples and religious buildings in there. The ancient city is situated between several historical areas. According to the ancient geographers, Strabon and Ptolemaios, Hierapolis was very close to Laodicea and Tripolis which was in Kario’s Border. That’s why it was a Phrygian City. Pamukkale where you can see Calcareous Thermal Springs descending over cliffs have created fascinating travertine’s in the form of white terrace and basins also known as the Cotton Castle. In this area, there are 17 hot water springs in which the temperature ranges from 35°C to 100°C. The water that emerges from the springs is transported 320 metres to the head of the travertine terraces and deposits calcium carbonate on a section 60 to 70 metres long covering an expanse of 24 metres to 30 metres. When the water, supersaturated with calcium carbonate, reaches the surface, carbon dioxide de-gasses from it, and calcium carbonate is deposited. Calcium carbonate is deposited by the water as a soft gel which eventually crystallizes into travertine. After lunch – trip to Bursa.Overnight Bursa Dinner At Hotel
After breakfast, we taste the Turkish Delights, flavored sweetmeat or a candy, prepared from starch and sugar, filled with dry fruits, honey or nuts. After shopping, we are heading to Green Mosque and Green Tomb. The mosque was built by prominent architect Hacı Ivaz Pasha upon the request of Ottoman Sultan Celebi Mehmet during 1415-1419 years in Bursa, Turkey. Its ornamentations and handiworks were made during the period of great painters – Haci Ali, Ilyas Ali. Located in the city named Green (Yesil in Turkish), Bursa, Green Mosque composes of mausoleum (Tomb), madrasah, cultivation and Turkish Baths. Then we will visit The Grand Mosque which is one of the most attractive examples of the Ottoman architecture in the transition period. The mosque, with an interior fountain and a beautiful wooden pulpit is considered to be a classic. After lunch, we will have a departure to Topcular and embark on a ferryboat to Eskihisar, Orhangazi and Gemlik, enjoying the countryside followed by a drive to Istanbul. On arrival to Istanbul, you will be able to enjoy Bosphorus Cruise with boat and experience the magnificent view between Asia and Europe. From our cruise boat, we view the dramatic sights lining the Bosphorus’ wooded shores: mosques, a bridge that for a time was the world’s longest and Rumeli Hisari, a massive fortress built by Muhammed El Fatih in just three months as he prepared to take Istanbul. Also noteworthy on this tour are the 19th century mansions of the Ottoman elite and the Sultans’ fanciful gingerbread palaces and hunting lodges.Overnight in Istanbul. Dinner in a local restaurant.

There are many shops where you can buy spices, sweets, dried fruits and nuts, teas and coffees. Last stop will be Ayub Al – Ansar mosque and mausoleum. The Eyüp Sultan Camii (Eyüp Sultan Mosque) is one of the most holy and important mosques in all of Turkey. It is so revered because it located on the site of the tomb of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (Eyüp Ensari in Turkish) – who was both a friend and standard bearer for the Prophet Muhammed, and was killed during the first Arab siege of Constantinople (674-678).
